Who isn’t familiar with the mystery of lost socks? This digital campaign by mail order company OTTO goes to the bottom of it.

The short film “The sock pig” features a resourceful, small-scale entrepreneur from provincial Franconia who’s turned the missing-sock mystery into a profitable business. With the help of a re-trained truffle pig, Thomas Göbel locates socks for his clients and collects eye-popping sums for his service. Only when people start ordering new washing machines from OTTO does his business begin to falter, and Göbel gets into dire straits. This documentary-style campaign was shot near Würzburg and entertains with a lot of local colour.
